Our 10 oz. cotton duck canvas strikes the ideal balance between substance and economy. It is priced only slightly higher than our medium weight cotton canvas, yet it is substantially heavier in weight and strength. Sturdy enough to support agressive painting techniques, yet it has a supple feel to the brush. Ready to accept your favorite primer, or paint right on the canvas. When you start with an unprimed canvas, the surface is all in your control. Oil based paints applied directly to the raw canvas can be caustic to the canvas.
